I had written a bit where Todd walks in to the room catching Sai Fen still in the water bubble, but on thinking about it I decided it didn't make much sense that Sai Fen wouldn't quickly floop that water bubble back into the tank before calling the human in to chat about war crimes.
The last time Selkie got too far away from her hairbow -EDIT- Fixed some continuity errors regarding lack of snowfall in panel 2 and a lack of waterbending bracers.
I frequently run outside under dressed in the winter. Bad idea. Baaaaad.
I can see Selkie developing a liking for marinades once she gets past the psychological “OMG IT’S PLANTS” hurdle.
I considered mentioning an off-camera moment where Selkie got sick from eating meat with too much barbecue sauce on it, but I don't want to confuse the "can she or can't she" issue.

I figure Sai Fen remembers the different sounds Suko made when he was younger to identify "happy" from "hungry" pretty reliably.

Some of the toys new and some of them are Suko's hand-me-downs. Non-toxic plastic infant toys that won't leech bad things into water if submerged. More fun for her than a bubble-clam would be, anyway.
