Honestly this is a very smart way to handle a situation like this. Todd understands that if he made a big deal out of letting a child go home by herself it would probably alienate her family but he isn’t comfortable letting her go home like that. So instead of pushing past their boundaries to make himself comfortable he makes an offer to let her stay over so that the kids have fun and Te Fahn goes home in the daylight!
