The Matrix isn’t THAT old.
I saw it in the theater, I wasn’t even in high school yet. The movie is almost 25 years old. I’d say it’s pretty old.
Then again, I wasn’t fan boying over any of the Matrix movies like most people. Honestly I’d rather watch Forest Gump again given the choice between that and the Matrix.
Well, when I was a kid, my mom and I watched quite a few older classics together, like “Arsenic and Old Lace” and “Harvey,” so I don’t think there’s anything implausible about it.
