Today's edition of the Secret Commentary is empty, because Dave failed to come up with something for it.
It’s all fun and games until somebody laser-blasts the tv and then NOONE gets to watch ANYTHING.

That would be so hilarious to see. Right up until dealing with the aftermath.
And a wonderful ending to the year it is! I particularly love Amanda’s grin.
I grew up in rural Nebraska, home to some decent thunderstorms. While I haven’t seen a TV literally blow up, I’ve seen one toasted when lightning hit the antenna that was up on a tower, while we were watching it. It was moderately spectacular.
I can totally see laser assisted sibling rivalry ending in chaos with these two, hahaha!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
“Selkie yes! Selkie ALWAYS yes!”
“Laser tag” means something VERY different to these girls.
There is a youtube video by ProZD “tchaikovsky no.” I picture a similar “Selkie no” interchange.
I love the overlapping speech bubbles prohibiting the eye-laser fight telling Selkie no.
“Last one to lose all their face-skin wins!”
“AMANDA! DO NOT ENABLE SELKIE!”
Yeah… the idea that Amanda and Selkie would grow to be partners in crime as they grew up became a thousand times scarier when they both turned out to be Echoes.
