I kind of loved how we get all the safety stuff and then… THE SCREAM! Where Todd, who does not know what we know, is worried. It felt like a prank on the character that the audience is in on. ^_^
This comment, YES!. Dave is awesome at the twist that sets my rant off. I never, never, ever guess what the twist is.
Waiting for the, “Look, Mom, I made an ashtray!”
(Oh!wait, that was the 60s, ….)
Yeah, I have screamed louder over a spider than the gash in my knee requiring 18 stitches, age 7. According to my parents, it was more a “uh….i think…i need to go to the doctor…”

A real screamer
YEEAAAAAAAAIIIIIIII!!!!
You two should talk about stuff. Not STUFF; stuff.
How does she know the ‘I can only count to nine’ scream?
Because mothers are all-knowing.
Mothers who’ve raised their kids for their whole lives certainly know nearly all their kids’ quirks, but Andi honestly hasn’t known Amanda that long.
Thus Kudos.
Crimping irons are a helluva thing.
It’s all about intonation.
Happy screams end with a high note. Anger screams tend to go mid or low note and last longer.
“PPE” = “Personal Protective Equipment”?
I would say protection not protective, but yeah.
PPE being short for “Personal Protective Equipment” is the OSHA standard, as well as the EU’s English documentation.
I feel like all the safety suggestions in the comments has delayed the story
Safety is important! And media is influential, and thus proper safety in media is also important!
Only by about one strip. I’ve delayed worse just by my own second-guessing.

I can only count to 4. 😂
My only count to nine scream was more of a high pitch grunt followed by a certain f-word all the way to the ER.

When did Andi show up? I thought she asked Todd to watch Amanda because of job hunting?
As someone who grew up with a carpenter father, it is surreal to see someone (No matter how fictional) not automatically know any of these things
