I don't think of Kenneth as being a bad person, but I do think of him as being a bit "money-blind". He has money, he's probably grown up with and always had money, so its natural for him to show kindness and extend courtesy through transaction.

Temporarily switching back to Lucida while I try out some other font ideas.
I was originally going to have Giselle tell a more elaborate fib than "she did it out of jealousy", but I think the more subtle fib fits her better.
I don't see Giselle as having a lot of artistic ability, so I chose to reflect that in her "flashback style".

The refreshment attendants, Brad (glasses with poofy hair) and Sammy (mohawk and stretched ear lobes) are from one of my really early attempts at a webcomic project about four roomates in a college dorm. It was pretty bad, so it's not online anymore. Just mentioning it for trivia.
