So tempted to draw the first panel of the next strip in a Star Wars lightsaber duel mock-up, but I don't think it would fit Amanda's personality. Selkie'd love it though.

Color coded mayhem!! I don’t normally do this because I’m silly and forgetful, but by request I thought I’d share here the beta version of this strip that was up as a placeholder while I got the coloring finished.
I think Felix made an impression on Selkie
Andi also has an in-progress tattoo of Gilgamesh Enkidu and Humbaba on the small of her back, and two others in non-kid-appropriate places.
Not sure how Selkie would get a tummy tattoo of a farmhouse pond.
Sorry folks, but today’s strip is gonna have to be blue lines for now. I’m going to try and get it properly outlined and colored sometime this weekend. My apologies for the low-art day. -EDIT- Done!
She's forgetting the part where magic fairies fix everything forever.
I failed Headroom 101 and had to tweak dialogue. Some of it was mildly longer.
As some readers pointed out correctly on the previous strip, Selkie wasn't aware of the GameKid's smashing. It happened after she'd left.
Original script for Panel 3 had Andi gesturing towards Amanda with a "See? This is what I'm talking about" expression, but upon actually drawing it I was afraid it gave the impression of Amanda being "tricked" into a flip-out, which was not a desirable message, so I modified it to a facepalm.
In earlier strips Todd's head and Amanda's head were drawn very similarly, but over time Todd got a bit longer and more... adult-y. Obviously they resemble each other but it felt strange after awhile to draw a late-twenties man and an eight year old girl with exactly the same face shape. Some things stayed similar between them, though.
Those German lessons are coming along well. Incidentally, those of you who read my other project The Adventures of Sue and Kathryn may recognize a scene here. :3
