Looks like her parents trust that she knows her way and will be safe! Probably weird for Todd since he’s raised as a American. Plus he’s being dealing with child services and how strict they are about taking care of a child. Which logically makes sense as the goal is to get these kids into better homes then they had before so expectations are far higher than typical parents.
So used to the ward of the state rules a *normal* visit throws him for a loop its sad to think about how locked down the lives of those in state care can be.
As a father I would be triple checking to see if the parents know she is there/approved the visit before I got an unpleasant visit from CPS AND Avery. Better yet, call Avery first to aid and act as a trusted witness. Last thing Todd needs is angry Sarnothi OR a potential misunderstanding of Echo proportions. Especially since I don’t remember George being let in on that secret.

That, or he expected them to drive her/bring her via some transportation, not let her walk a few miles.
Do we know where she lives? It could just be a few streets away.
How’s that vegetarianism going, Todd? ?
Come now. He lives with Selkie. It’s not like there will be leftovers in any case.

I love the first panel of Te Fahn. I dunno what it is, exactly, but she looks really soft and natural in that panel.
Yes! I picked up on that too.
Have we met her parents? I don’t remember.
I did some digging.
I can find only a single comic where one of Te Fahn’s parents shows up: 1231
We saw their store too, but they didn’t seem to be there at the time: 1820
Hopefully this will pass moderation quickly enough for anyone to see it…
I thought that was her father in 1824 and 1833.
The other appearance of her mother is 1379. (I don’t know how to embed links like you did)
So, they’re alive. Thanks everyone!!
Todd and Selkie went to their market once. And her mom has been to the apartment to pick her up at least twice that I can remember.
Thanks!! I was wondering if she was an orphan.
