Old lore at this point, if you’ve forgotten. Selkie’s loosely learning German from the neighboring apartment.
Today's edition of the Secret Commentary is empty, because Dave failed to come up with something for it.

Oh right, the Asuka/Shinji lookalikes.
I’m going to assume what Selkie said in the last panel is Tensei, but as far as I know it could be German.
It’s German
“You too, you witch”. It’s in the familiar form, which given they are friends, fits, and she’s probably not hearing much formal German from the neighbors, either. It is interesting that Selkie doesn’t seem to have problems with plurals “auf Deutsch” similar to how her written English also lacks them. I’m not sure what it indicates, but I find it interesting.
“Zu” means “to” as a preposition; if it were “too”, it would be spelled “auch”.
Selkie means to say “(back) to you” I guess. The correct German term for that would be “selber” (meaning: yourself) – but this is Selkie translating literally.
kudos to her for getting the two translations for “you” correctly
Yes, I know. I was attempting to tansliterate, rather than translate. but yes, “same to you” or “back to you” would have benn more accurate. It wouldn’t have actually added anything to the *meaning* of what she said.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh, and in case you were wondering, In German, calling someone a “witch” is NOT a euphemism for the b-word…
