A play on mord… I mean words. 🙂
I mean, it doesn’t really work in English because, unlike the German word “Wort”, the o in word is phonetically very different to the o in Mord.
Truly, they are sisters.
It really is heartwarming looking at how far these two have come. Just look at them in the first few chapters, and now here they are, plotting murder together and completely in sync with one another. Absolutely adorable.
I’m sure these young ladies would have a most fruitful conversation with Ms. Tisiphone.

Now I’m curious about their wedding customs too!
I remember the story that San Fen told Selkie about the Maiden and it looked like the cemented marriage by tying their wrists together in some sort of ceremony. Still would be neat to see how the full ceremony is performed though.
This is one of the best sister acts I’ve encountered in months.
