Key words everyone (self included) must note: “Based on what I saw”. Neither parent was here for the argument, so what they saw was improvement. And honestly, now that my mind’s recalling the marker fight, yes, the way both girls handled this is MUCH better than how it was. Ooof…
I like how Amanda and Selkie are acting more and more like sisters – in both good and bad ways – than like two girls who happen to live together. Though telling THEM that they’re acting like actual sisters might still be premature…
I’m waiting for one of them to wade in with fist and foot to defend the other in a scrap and the realization that they’ve bonded to that amount to wash over them like the tide.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say Amanda didn’t do *anything* (she could have phrased her remark better, and, more importantly, could have apologised for causing offense), but I do agree that Selkie overreacted. She could have handled that *far* better. To be fair, though, they both could have handled it far *worse*, too.

To Sionyx and Khyrin: I’m upvoting each of your Comments! Except we can’t do that here.
Am I the only one who don’t think Amanda did anything and Selkie vastly overreacted?
