Gotta confess something, this bit was originally going to be more Selkmanda bickering, but a couple comics back somebody made mention of Amanda’s propensity for motion sickness and it hit me: she gotta puke.

well kids parties and someone puking kind of goes hand in hand…
Can you even call it a “kids party” if someone doesn’t?
To be fair, not all motion sickness is created equal. I can’t do things that spin, but i have no problem on roller coasters and I can read in cars without issue. So you COULD have been kind to Amanda if you REALLY wanted. Though given how awesome Todd and Andi’s reaction’s are in this one i’m glad you didn’t.
Maybe she _did_ try to spin, like Keisha?
never do a barrel roll without proper supervision
Amanda, meet ralph…
Reynard: you said that MUCH more delicately than I would have. Thanks for saving me from doing that. Even if I was about to say the same thing, seeing it gave me a chuckle.
It’s my party
I can puke if i want to!
You would puke too if it happened to you!
It’s nice to see the newer generations appreciate 50s classics. Think about it, to people in the 50s, classics from 60 years before them were recorded on wax cylinders.
Oops, my bad, Leslie Gore did “It’s my party” in 1963, but still 1913 would be the era of Enrico Caruso.
I got to say, I AM LOVING the new dynamic between Andi and Todd. Originally it seemed like Andi wanted Amanda as a effort to put her shattered life back together with Todd. That ended quickly thankfully. Now Andi is a parent with a co-parent she is on good terms with. Or even further, she is a parent and a co-parent herself (since she does try to support Selkie too).
Yea, as someone who really didn’t like Andi – I must say I really don’t mind her with this dynamic they got going on. Likewise with Amanda being much better now that she isn’t just bullying Selkie and everyone with no pushback.
Agreed. Andi’s too busy being a mom to really, really pursue a relationship that had a messy breakup, I think? I sure hope. (Stars know, being a parent can totally put a crimp in “relationship” even when it’s sturdy! >_> )
Spare set of clothes. Just sayin’.
Even for 8 year olds.
Todd’s just looking for an out.
So now, while Todd is busy dealing with Amanda cleanup, what trouble is Selkie going to be getting into, I wonder?
I love the co-parenting dynamic between Andi and Todd. Whatever else may be between them, they’ve go co-parenting down hard.
“You’re my angel.”
As a single parent with a normally strong gag reflex that is triggered by vomit, this is extremely relatable for me.
