This dream sequence went through a LOT of re-writes over the course of it's run. There was actually going to be a third act after the centaurinas which led in to the Big Fall that I cut entirely. I even had pencils done, but it would have extended the dream sequence right to the middle of SEPTEMBER. I was also going to have Selkie simply wake up due to the fear and the fall, but I had an idea for another option that also allowed for me to use my Giant Crook idea after all. :D

Tried to make the shadows and texturing on this one a little darker than the previous "desert landscape" backgrounds. I also think it's kind of funny how panel three could be interpreted as Selkie running away from an action movie explosion.

I was going to have the scene-change in the last panel as a smooth gradient, but I think the abrupt difference is more appropriately dream-like. Or it is for my dreams anyway.

My original drafts just had Ricky and Tony blasted into space and disappearing into a twinkle of light. If you've seen Pokemon more than twice you know what I am referring too. I like the idea more of them being launched into space for a purpose, though.
