Marta and Antoine also have something set aside in case they have their own kids one day. Just throwing that out there in case anyone wondered.

It sounds like a great gift until ten years pass and it's all blown in one semester because inflation.

It's interesting and funny to me how many of you sometimes run your minds along the same wavelength as me. The last comic I wrote in "Little Ravens Writing Desk" as an Alice in Wonderland joke, and a couple readers ran it off into the Baltimore Ravens. Hadn't intended that, but I DID intend for Marta and Steve to get football tickets and engage in a little sports-team trash talk in the strip after it. I love that you all went right to football chatter ahead of me. :D
In a way, they can both get their jam on now. – – – – More Fan Art from Kristine! Some cute drawings of the Family Pets! Thank you!
Mari and Theo are loosely based on my own maternal grandparents, and many of the gifts I've gotten from them over the years have been practical things I didn't ask for, but appreciated very much once I'd put them in action. One of them is the space heater that's been keeping my room toasty in winter for ten years now.
Thank you all again for your patience with my sick day on Monday. Dayquil and Mucinex is helping. —- Fanart update! Kristine Melendez shared this on the Selkie facebook page: Thank you so much! It’s cute! 😀
Let the savaging of dead trees commence.
I’m sorry for not having a comic today everyone. I’m not feeling well and I can’t focus on it. Gonna take a day off and resume things on Wednesday.
Garfield was right, Mondays are terrible.
It's a playful punch. ...I think.
Colors updated, and erroneous word- tails mercilessly severed. Ten years isn’t THAT long to hold a grudge, really.
I re-wrote panel 5 a bit. It was originally written to be Todd clasping Amanda on the shoulders comfortingly, but after some discussion on the last strip that Todd doesn't appear to feel very affectionate towards Amanda, I re-wrote it to be a hug instead.
Holiday Honesty (Speaking of holidays, I saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra perform this afternoon, it was AMAZEBALLS.)
Clearly she's smarter than everyone else, who is clearly stupid.
I claim this hat in the name of Amandavania.
Panel 4 originally had scrawled words peppering the colored expanse to expand on Amanda's inner thoughts, but I thought it felt a bit too heavy-handed.
