No field trips, though

SELKIE: This place is huge. It looks like school.
AVERY: Ha ha. Well, don't worry Selkie. You're safe from school for today.
AVERY (VO): Now, here's some loose paper. Feel free to write down anything you want to remember.
AVERY (VO): Some pamphlets we've prepared for dissemination. Everything in here is newly de-classified, but you'll still want to review it.
AVERY (VO): Oh, and we're also going to have a video portion too. Please try to pay attention to it.
SELKIE: "No school", he says. Day of LIES.

Wecome to dealing with the governent, kiddo
Bwahahaha! Pure gold. ♥️
I agree, that was a dick move Brown. (I can swear here right?)
With the exception of racial slurs and things like the C-Word, no I don’t restrict cursing in the hecking comments.
“Hecking”? Cheese and rice, Dave. You need to tone down those gosh darn four letter words.
Stop! My poor heart can only take so much! *Falls dramatically upon her fainting couch.*
I can’t help but think that Agent Brown knew exactly what he was doing and teasing Selkie
As a retired Federal civil servant myself, I can truly say that it’s not really “dealing with the government” until you’ve been asked to fill something out in triplicate.
can confirm. Even my building access for the god damn social security administration HQ had to be done in triplicate. IN PEN (they could not actually accept a digitial fucking signature)
Heck, back when i was in the US Navy, in order to get a security clearance i had to fill out the SF86 form on paper before they would let us fill it out online, because the way the online version worked, you had to login to a secure website that timed you on how long it took to input the data requested, and if it took too long without going to the next page of input, it logged out and didn’t save anything… YOU HAD TO START OVER FROM SCRATCH, it would only allow ONE save-file, and it HAD to be 100% Complete, with no errors like gaps it dates for residences lived, or employment status, etc… any error, you had to redo it from scratch… AND, the form has 127 pages!! granted a lot of it is info text and such, but Blech!, that’s a lot of writing, just to type it all in on a computer…
Yeah I don’t personally see this likely happening. Everyone knows what Selki and Amanda are like. While this information is probably important for both of them, I seriously don’t understand why they didn’t send the kids to the Grandparents for the afternoon instead of dragging them to this. Their parents could have talked with them about it later.
But, but, “field trips” are the best part!
you can tell she’s not happy by how her grammar is better than usual lol
