Amanda sticking her tongue out at Selkie is just… It’s just such a welcomed reaction. Amanda is making wonderful progress with her rage issues. Even *if* it’s because mom and dad and scary agent man are there, she’s not let the presence of adults stop her from wreaking havock on those who wronged her, before. This is such a childish response that it makes me giggle.
Also, Andi? Sweetie? Either calm down or that N.O.K. page will be more relevant than you want it to be when you stroke out, have a heart attack, and burst every capillary you have at once.
I’m loving Todd’s non-reactive “been there done that” attitude. The difference between the two perhaps says a lot about why they broke up.
To be fair, he had a very similar reaction when he first saw Echo powers, and no one was even using eye lasers at the time.
Sorry, I’m not a native speaker so I don’t get why it is bad to be next of kin since Andi is Amanda’s mom?
Next of Kin forms are for supplying information on who to contact in the event that the signer is injured or killed.
And currently that would most likely be Andi’s mother, who didn’t want Andi to go full term with Amanda in the first place.
Oh God, I hadn’t even thought of that! Her mother doesn’t need to ever be part of this equation, ever! Hopefully she’s smart enough to put down Todd – and *his* parents as secondaries if that’s an option.
unfortunately the legal system doesn’t work like that as far as i know… it might in this case because Todd actually IS the bio-father, but… we’ll see i guess…
As the acknowledged and biological father who has taken an active role in Amanda’s upbringing from the moment he learned she was alive Todd would be the presumptive next-of-kin in many if not all jurisdictions. He never gave up parental rights. I believe he has legal joint custody of Amanda.

I think I prefer the thicker outlines you use previously, but you do you.
I’m on the fence. Thick outlines are more expressive, thin outlines allow more detail. May try a married approach and see
