Oof, wait to hit me in the feels before the weekend there, Dave.
Georgie, you definitely deserve to have what the others have. I don’t know when or if that will happen, as God Emperor Dave surely has a plan, but someday, I hope George will have his wish come true.
In a way that is my fear and something I am surprised I havent seen yet. And in that I mean Selkie asking Todd to do this, and Todd having to explain why he can’t.
Honestly from my own experience, I think Todd would be able to handle two kids fine. We’ve seen him wrangle the sisters when they’re together just fine so having a more permanent sibling in the house wouldn’t be that much of a stretch. Also they’re at a relatively self manageble age. We also know he’s more then able to handle the financial burdens.
I had an abusive narcissist/borderline mom, so basically I didnt have a “mom” in the sense that most people do. Georgie’s anguish here really cut me deep.
Currently imagining George getting adopted by a Sarnothi couple. Or even just a single parent, maybe one who lost family (not kids necessarily, but family) during the Time of Troubles. One who could empathize with a kid who’s had nothing for so long.

Good writing Dave. Thanks.
Na bac leis! The page speaks for itself.
No plurals in Selkie’s line. Interesting.
I have a stutter, and I miss-speak a lot. It’s much easier to control if I have to stop, and think of what to say, and focus on what I am saying.
Selkie, in this moment, is focusing very hard on what she is saying.
Also I love these kids very much.
Oh, I missed that. You’re right, no plurals at all. Good detail and good catch.
George, I would adopt you in a heartbeat if I could. You seem to have a similar personality to mine and are wonderful
I want Todd to adopt Georgie so bad. These two have already been basically siblings for years.

I know how he feels.
Same, dude.
