That’s the kind of stuff that makes her one of my favorite characters. 🙂

I just realized, and had to go back thru previous pages to verify… At the beginning of this arc, Benny’s facial markings were still circular, but by the interaction with Gien, they are now triangular.
I thought maybe they started as smaller spots and took shape as he matured… But the “change” was instantaneous.
My rule is no more than 5 characters, because I’m always forgetting earrings, Horns, pendants, amulets, bracelets, arm cuffs, plus; scars, stripes, leitmotifs, … ugh, it’s Just all so much to remember.
“Remembery” is hard stuff.
Bull: why didn’t you call the police?
Fox (after the mugging): And have to draw 3 new characters in uniform? No.
Not only that, but at one point they were upside down triangles and now they’re right side up triangles. Benny was missing the marks altogether on one of the pages where they were interacting with the eel farmer.
I’ll be honest I’m probably going to have to go back and do a QC check on Benny’s face markings over the past arc. Im pretty sure they’ve been wrong a few times
Character sheets with turnarounds are an important part of any visual medium storytelling! References are allowed and encouraged!
Love how the age level of their convo rapidly decreases as they get angrier. And how they don’t see it but Came does…
Wow. She really wasn’t manipulating Gien. She just knew things he didn’t and they have similar feelings about it.
