Just a reminder, I am planning a day trip to Anime Central on Saturday May 17. I’d love a chance to meet-and-greet any Selkie readers who’ll be there but since I couldn’t get a table my tentative plan is to camp out in a common area. Details later!
I've been referring to this whole scene as Operation: Fuster Cluck in my head.
Oh no she took her eyes off Truck and he’s out of our view. I really hope everyone can help prove how problematic his behavior is.
Jessie and the librarian should both still be in the library with Selkie. Chances are, Selkie´s maniacal laughter drew their attention and they are getting aware of what´s happening outside.
But if the teaching staff acted like they should act in real life, we wouldn’t be in this whole mess.
… Why is it that “Fuster Cluck” just sounds like a harmless children’s book character, possibly of the gallimorphic persuasion, than the spoonerism it actually is?
lawl. I understood every word. Hee! And I agree!
mort you wouldn’t be names after a certain Gunnerkrigg Court character would you?
Looks like that shove is going to cost Truck. Even the most tyrannical warlord needs to have people who are genuinely on their side. You can’t bully all of the people all of the time. Even if you can pull it off logistically, it leaves you a lonely, paranoid wreck with no one you can really trust.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer kid.
!!! YOU’LL BE AT ACEN! I want to say hello! *random fan*
Please do! 😀
Will also be looking for ya @ ACen. Keep us updated on where you’ll be holding court.
And the “actions and consequences” principle dawns for Mike.
I’ve recently been trying to explain this to adult circles, in terms of discrimination as ‘fun’. It’s slightly frustrating.
If Truck goes up to the library and goes after Selkie, I wonder if he knows how to fly?
