He’s a teenager now. His tattoos have started to come in. Or have finished coming in? Not quite sure how that works with Sarnothi. From what we’ve seen I think they begin coming in at puberty but no idea when they finish filling in.
I can’t help but think that she’s going to be a wonderful leader someday. Either an actual leader, or a mediator of some kind, she’s going to do more for her people through empathy and example than through her powers or her heritage.
She’s totally going to have powers but it will be her empathy that draws all the clans together. The powers will get them to pay attention, and the empathy will get them to listen and stay.
Sometimes power is important, and sometimes the true power is in the spreading of words and ideas — especially the crucial concepts of “be good to others” and “stop dividing people for no good reason.”

Thought he was “her age.” Guess that’s what I get for not paying closer attention.

Tattoo’s are artificially applied, the Clan Markings come in naturally.
