My mom took longer learning this lesson than she thinks she should have. Part of it was she normally would just assume that I was tired and just needed a nap. Then I would get all nice and cheery after food instead of a nap. To this day, my body still tends to make me emotional (angry, etc) over actually feeling hungry. It is rather frustrating, as I don’t feel like eating but it is actually what my body wants.
I was prescribed Wegovy (semaglutide, aka Ozempic), and that’s actually the second biggest concern I have about it. (Incidentally, the biggest concern is that I’m a bit of an emetophobe, so learning that roughly a quarter of people prescribed semaglutide report vomiting terrifies me.)
Some people report mental health issues with semaglutide. I’m curious how many of those people fall into one of these categories:
1. People who are prone to hanger, but are unwilling or unable to eat while on semaglutide.
2. People who use food as a coping mechanism but are unable to do so while on semaglutide.
Tomorrow I’m going to make an appointment with a shrink, for several reasons but including this one.
Re: Wegovy/Ozempic. I’ve been on Ozempic for a year for diabetes. I’ve found small snacks work to help with this. And I do mean small. A handful of nuts. Or an 8 ounce Boost. It helps me but as always YMMV and I’m not a doctor.

I presume Todd isn’t having any lingering problems from the bite or the anti-venom shot?
This could only be funnier if Pohl had said “Clever girl”
And, O! Wise man!
The good doctor is m8ssing his stripes.
*missing
[WEBDINGS] tiny phone keys… I am always fat-fingering something.
Pohl’s stripes don’t have outlines. So they don’t exist until the color gets added.
The baby’s face in the last panel XD (still uncolored when I wrote this)
