Audrey 2 has taken this as a personal challenge, AND as a dinner invitation.
Was wondering how they were gonna make a pizza without bread and sauce.
I have seen recipes where ground chicken was prepared and baked into a ‘crust’ for pizza. As for the sauce, it’d have to be more of a gravy, maybe? I forget if Sarnothi can eat dairy (cheese), but if so then a cheese sauce would probably work.
as per page 53(“Oh, and does your cheese sauce use vegetable oil? If it does, we need actual cheese melted on that.“), Selkie can process dairy.
Oh oh I just switched to a low carb and high protein diet and THIS chicken pizza thing I must learn more of!!!
(The diet is to hopefully extend my life a few months/years, along with conventional healthcare treatments – stupid recurrent cervical cancer wants me dead and I say NOT TODAY!!)
Also I reeeeeally love pizza. And bread. And muffins.
But I’d like to live a few more months or even years, more than any of them!

I hope it is helpful.
It looks tasty.
Also suggestions for sauce and toppings to say high protein/low carb

Cheese crust or cloud bread!
I haven’t tried the latter, but I do hear it’s pretty good for keto diets. The former, well, I commonly microwave cheese until it’s hard, which I find delicious, and I hear you can fry cheese up to make a shell for a chupaqueso (recipe in my name link there). Shouldn’t be too hard to make a decent cheese shell to put pizza toppings on/in.
Wonder if Sarnothi kids would like a sushi party the way regular kids like a pizza party. Makes an interesting thought about how they would fit in with food across different cultures.
Sushi is a bit of a misnomer in English. The word refers to the preparation method of the rice specifically (that is, cooked short-grain AKA ‘sticky’ rice mixed with vinegar).
Rice is probably too high-carb for most Sarnothi to eat in large proportions. They’d likely just take the meat off the nigiri(lump of sushi with a cut of meat on top) or pick it out of the roll.
Meaning that it would be a sashimi party instead (which is just as good).
A sashimi party might be an ideal beginning for a slumber party for sarnothi kids.
Gah! Anyone else thinking of poor Sam Ballard?
Sarnothi kids would probably want to go to a raw bar instead of a pizzeria.
