Good call, Selkie. Stay outta that trainwreck.
Absolutely loving Selkie’s facial expressions here.
She’s even let them both know she’s going to get a teacher and they’re still continuing to fight. Those two really are like fire and gasoline. Way more so than Tehk ever was with Selkie.
Ah, the sound of children at play…
…is truly, primordially terrifying.
I have rarely wished more that we had the ability to “like” comments.
Because … yeah. All of that. 😀
I prefer it to when the noise suddenly stops. The noise coming to an abrupt end is never a good sign.
I’m always on “High Alert” when the noise tapers off to total silence. If I don’t ‘ping’ on that, the next thing is smelling smoke or hearing “Oh, No! Help!” and that always leads to Me being in tears, too.
3rd panel’s a classic.
Ah. The good ol’ “Dust Cloud Of Violence.” A classic.
Gotta respect the classics they’re what got us to where we are.
Ooh… so now, if the dampener comes off, an adult is going to see the end result!
I hope so… but I hope to see Tehk’s reaction to Amanda glowing eyes above all.
I mean, you remember when Amanda asked him to teach him? She’s gonna rub it…
Oh good call! That’s probably where this is going. Likely just in time for said teacher to arrive and see glowy Amanda!
Selkie’s affect is delightfully complex, and even a bit of a surprise in its maturity. Well played, Dave.
I have never related to a character more than I relate to Selkie here.
This was a unexpected delight. Selkie forced to be the sane one for a change is funny.
