Today's edition of the Secret Commentary is empty, because Dave failed to come up with something for it.
Ok, I can see Heather and Selkie being a bit contrite about the bragging and parent talk, but Amanda is a bit of a surprise. Don’t get me wrong, I am so happy that she feels bad about accidentally hurting her friend’s feelings, it means she is learning empathy which Lillian said she had trouble with. Being reclaimed and having Selkie as a sister has improved her so much, even in this short time. Keep up the good work Amanda!
Amanda may be working through residual guilt from the “Sorry she didn’t want you!“
Yeah. Fair.
I can easily see how they’d just be talking about stuff that happens in their life as usual, not realizing it was hurting their friends, and then finding out like, “Oooooo…..our bad.”
OK everyone,
ACT NATURAL
I love your drawing. Those three frantic grins in a row…!
Selkie’s grin is the least scary of the three.
I double checked, you’re right!
Nothing awkward or odd here.
Oh good, Selkie was eavesdropping long enough to get all the context. The way things looked at the end of the last comic, I was expecting a couple of weeks of… drama.
Huh, Selkie told everyone, and of course they’re all acting uber obvious about it. So it looks like Heather and Amanda are civil around eachother, but ewe haven’t seen them makeup yet.
Not to take away from their awesome faces and character growth but Amanda and Selkie are dressed like twinsies today lol I just noticed it!
