Don't stare directly at it.

Those portraits are *awesome*! (Though I have a hard time imagining Andi in sandals. She strikes me as being strictly a Doc Martens kinda gal…)
Or combat (jump) boots for day-time and Dr. Martin’s for dress up.
The fan art is stunning, I am amazed at the attention to detail, like the bony slash muscled arms for Leo– so typical of “men his age” and for the texture of Andi’s hair, the high contrast between the white feline at their feet Vs. the “Bill The Cat” on Todd’s t-shirt. So very well and very deeply thought out.
Not to mention the little “flash-y thing” that the MIB (Agent Avery Brown? Agent Grey?) is holding.
Dave, yu didn’t every use the little flashy-thing on me did you? That wasn’t what that green light in the sky was on December,… Uhn, well I don’t remember what day it was… I don’t remember much about that day at all, come to think about it…
Here, have some free Kudos, you earned them!
Makes me wanna go play with that utility. I wonder how much is from the utility itself and how much might be custom effects or props created by the fan herself?
The fan art is so good!!!
That fan art is amazing!!
and so it starts, the first taste of xenophobia – from scared of the beam to scared of selkie if/when they learn she´s connected to it isn´t that much of a stretch….i can all but feel my stomach sink in sympathy to todds.
also, yay for the awesome fan art! selkie, pohl and lilian are my favourites
The fan art is great.
What kind of news call a weird beam: weapons test?
What media are the Fairwheaters watching?
Are you kidding me? It basically looked like a giant ass laser tearing across the sky. A weapons test is most likely the best explanation anyone can come up with, without knowning WHAT it is.
Frankly, I am surprised they even pulled that stunt, it has got to have some serious repercussions for them as far as the goverment is concerned. They are supposed to be low key and blasting a massive amount of energy across the sky is hardly that.
And there it is. The first taste of intelligent, well-meaning people experiencing something they don’t understand and reacting in fear. In fairness, it seems their fear is for their children’s future because of the idea of “weapons testing in our back yard.”
Although they also know Selkie, and Heather grew up (to the point where they adopted her) with Selkie. If they listen to their daughter, that might take some of the edge off if they ever learned the truth. Or not. Adults are notorious for not listening to kids.
The fan art is absolutely awesome! Is that a MIB “Flashy Thing” that Agent Brown is holding? 🙂
I think it’s just a lit cigarrette. He is a smoker.
Looks like you’re right. I hadn’t clicked on the image to make it larger. It’s easier to see if I do that. Derp.
I still like the idea of him having a Flashy Thing though. 😉
