Thank you TML!
I love the next to last panel. :3

Thank you TML!
I can totally see that happening
Oh so cute, love his blush at the end XD
Weren’t Goldfish crackers made of CHEEEEEEESE?
Cheese, yes, but also flour. Flour=Bleh.
And I’m not sure just how much actual cheese is in them.
There’s a lot of stuff in goldfish crackers that she can’t handle. I don’t have a bag in front of me so I can’t list specifics, but even organic goldfish crackers have crap in them she would reject. And so do Cheese Nips and Cheetos. I think Cheetos is at least the most honest with itself.
THANK YOU!! This was sooo fun to draw, and I’m happy to have had the chance to guest post.
My sisters love your comic, especially the eight year old, and they’re gonna’ FLIP when I show them this! ^_^
Thank you The Merry Lurker! I was holding my breath waiting to see what would happen next in Dave’s comic, but your guest strip makes the waiting much easier. I love your style. It’s a great contrast to Dave’s while keeping true to the original!
Head canon accepted.
Dang- that was fun! Not all guest strips do something in the same spirit as the original.
You are a very evil person for leaving us on a technical cliffhanger
Not a cliff-hanger but a pleasant and fun one-shot probably.
It was meant to be one-shot, yeah. Didn’t mean to cliffhanger at you! Just thought it would be funny to leave the following awkward situation up to the imagination.
Absolutely wonderful! Good job TML!
Good job! Spot on with the characters, and the take off on the real life settings (I don’t shop ‘Wool Mart’, but I do ‘Real Foods’ – I could see this happening).
Nice work Merry!
Love the guest comic, looking forward to the regular arc resuming next week. 😉
Todd’s facial expressions remind me of Goku. I cannot tell you why, for I do not know why they do.
This is really cute, by the way.
This is simply adorable! X3 If only that lady knew that Selkie has eaten live goldfish…
I love the strip, by the way!!
Good comic!
And Dave – you had a chance to use ‘penultimate’ in your transcript, and missed it!! 🙂
I don’t see why Todd should be blushing.
Let’s suppose my kid is allergic to peanuts. They are having a free sample of Combos. That’s a cheese-filled pretzel snack. Except these are the ones filled with peanut butter. About the time he tosses ’em into his mouth, his brain registers the peanut butter smell, and he quickly spits ’em out.
I’m not going to be embarrassed that he spit out food in the store. I’m going to be to happy that I don’t have to take him to the ER.
But, aside from that minor complaint, I enjoyed this one.
I’m guessing the blush is less about the spit out food and more about the implication that Selkie knows what *real* goldfish taste like. Certainly I’d blush about that.
