So this was my daughter at her last party. One of our friends who brother owns the game shop we host the party at, we had forgotten to give them the party invite 😂
At least her dad was there for her to get to fix this mistake. Still as a dad who recently set up stuff for my kid’s birthday party most schools require that the entire class gets invites if they are going to invite kids to the party so no one is left out. I’ll pin this to this being Todd’s first being a dad of a birthday girl. But he really should have been on top of this. Hopefully this will mean it’s a learning experience for when Amanda’s comes around.
This brings me back to my own childhood experience… I handed out invitations in class, and had to deal with the “but why didn’t you invite me” embarrassment. Best as I can reconstruct it, Mom had probably asked me for a list and I named who I could think of at the time, without having a class roster to choose from.
This can happen with really good friends. When your best friend being with you on an important occasion falls into your “goes without saying” mental category, one might not remember to actually say to them “you’re invited”.

But they already had Amanda’s birthday, unless Andi set it up entirely by herself I’m betting Todd helped too
…what? How would they even enforce that “rule”.

Am I the only one who thinks Selkie just forgot her own birthday party cuz she was fixated on the snack board and so much meat?

I knew she didn’t even talk to Todd about it. XD
I can totally see Todd saying: “But Selkie, THIS was your party.”
… Especially if Todd is just trolling her.
“Didn’t you like it?”
