Yeah, Brandon acquired an awesome photo, eel with pretty blue teeth – sounds like the title to a classical painting by Magritte, or Dali. Such pretty blue teeth. I’m staying out of the water, Todd… learn your lessons!
Swimming pools are much safer,… except -in Florida…. And Australia, where if it’s alive; it is toxic, or deadly, or dangerous, or killer. I’ve been told the grass is dangerous, the grass! And I thought Cholla Jumping Cactus were bad, HA!
Personally, i would guess that the effects would be lessened in the EXACT spot the kissing occurred… only because the water in the local area would be dissolving the saliva off of the Sarnothi’s lips, and causing it to affect a much LARGER surface area of the humans skin… so rather than a spot like Todd had, the human would get a general overall whole face and neck gets sunburned-like effect, plus whatever else on him that was exposed to the water., like maybe the hands, neck and or chest, who knows… but as it is right now, with a full-body suit and hard-hat helmet, the chances of any contamination sticking around to affect them during the removal of the suit are pretty slim.
It may depend on the solubility of the allergen in water; I don’t see much reason for it to become *worsened* underwater, unless the allergen somehow reacts with something in lake water to form a even stronger one (in which case it could be called…….limnotoxic?)
Hey Dave, any chance we get a Cast page update sometime soon? No rush, but especially with all the (relatively) new Sarnothi characters it would be pretty useful.
Thank you Brandon, that made my day!
Ditto!
saltwater moray.
This is more like what pants should look like.

“I’m glad we’re friends” after a comment like that.
Sai Fen continues to be amazing, I see. XD
“When you swim by a hole and an eel bites your toe, that’s a Moraaaay!”
If King Kong leaves you flat
Try the flick Vampire Bat
That’s – some more Wray
Dean Martin sang it so well……;)
Curious question. We know Sarnothi saliva has allergenic properties in small doses.
If a human were to smooch with a Sarnothi underwater, would the effects be lessened/absent, or somehow worsened?
Also, is it possible, thanks to human abilities to adapt, to eventually become resistant to Sarnothi venom?

That last comment of Sai Fen’s is why she’s one of my favorite characters, heehee! 😀

Imagine this in the voice of Dean Martin doing what might have been his biggest hit:
When You’re down by the sea
And an ell bites your knee
That’s a morey.
Seen on a road sign in Colorado.
