Tehk’s face in panel five, the face, that face, the “Bleauggh-y-est of faces”.**
Heh, looks like someone might have a low tollerance for the “bad-guys”… Guilty conscience maybe?? Hhhhmmm?
Am I right that we’ve got one of each of the four clans in these kids? Te Fahn looks like a Tel’Dora, we know Selkie is Jin’Sorai, Kin Ro is Mor’Kama, and I think Tehk is Sar’Teri?
…upon a dig through the archives Tehk is apparently a Tel’Dora. But he looks for all the world like the Sar’Teri we’ve seen before…
Might I suggest Selkie the book ‘Spoopy stories to read at night’ (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) or “Quick and Quivering”? (Short and shivery) While she seems to love scifi and fantasy, she also seems to be a budding horror hound.
Sam, see? That’s the thing, we don’t know any of Selkie’s backstory. We don’t know what she witnessed before her mother drug her out of the water onto dry land. She may have a fascination with scarey stuff, when she can know it is just fantasy, and not actually coming to get her. … Which is what I suspect the guy in the castle playing ****p wants (to get her to echo for his side).
Looks like selkie found a new friend!
yup! bet she´ll introduce him to sue+kat next – he seems to like the idea of people getting eaten 😉
so far i like these sarnothi kids, except tehk

My apologies to the King, Tom.
I love where the story’s going so far, Dave and the Sarnothi kids are hilarious so far. ‘Specially that Mor’Kama kid lol

Wonder if they’re aware pirhanas are a real fish.
Those at least only eat you once.
Yeah, once by each one.
Feels like they’re talking about Slenderman, except he’s real and has been witnessed doing his deeds.
Rahn, Benny and Selkie are going to be a terror trio.
I approve.
Yeah, I am thoroughly enjoying Rahn within the space of a couple panels. Kudos for fast character branding!

Ah, his name is Rahn. He was *born* to be a sidekick friend that tells you all about the
wizardingSarnothi world! We still don’t know what “casetty-can” is.
Casseticon. The robots that jumped out of the blue one’s chest cavity transform into audio cassette tapes.
Love these children
