And we’ve already seen with Truck that when not regurgitating internet memes, she’s actually really mature and emphatic, able to move on and forgive like that.
Headcanon “Needs” to be respected, in about the same way a homeless person with no pants, standing in the middle of the street screaming about voices in his head while actively soiling himself… needs to be given a good 10 feet of personal space, minimum.
Ugh I hope Todd is kidding. I can’t be the only one who cringes when parents talk about that kind of thing can I?
Imagine if some kid was being too literate and they were like “that’s it, no more books”
probably did happen some centuries back.
Back in the Before-Time, before the Intarwebbez, but after Colour TV, we would quote Narnia lines at each other:
Before the test: student A–“Math quiz? I’m gonna die!
Student B: “While there is life there is yet hope, but the dead are all dead alike.
Mom A: “What would you like for dessert?”
Sibling A: “Might I have some more Turkish Delight?”
Mom A: (pointing wooden spoon at me) “I don’t know. Did you take out the trash?”
Sibling B: “Look out, it’s the White Witch, she’ll turn you to stone!!”
Or we would quote Tom Lehrer lyrics, if appropriate.
Papa A: did you finish your Math homework?
Sib B: “Yes.”
Sib A: “Yeah, it was simple, so very simple, that only a child can do it.”
Nah, it’s a well known thing that diamonds are so hard they can only be broken by other diamond. I don’t know if it’s true but it’s well-known. If steven universe used that premise (i don’t know cause I don’t watch the show) that’s where the writers of SU got the idea from
I know about actual diamonds. The only reason I asked if it was a Steven Universe reference is because I don’t know if the reference was due to something Selkie learned in school or if she was in universe a fan of the show. It could go either way, and would have been cute. Also, it happened to be after some pretty significant cartoon bombs, so I was just wondering about it.
Besides, being a cartoon about kick-butt alien warrior “women” (they are are sentient alien rocks, but they have she/her pronouns) sounds like something that would be right up Selkie’s alley.
Selkie is…. actually being NICE to Amanda. Wow.
I’m thinking it’s a bit of side-effects of the Christmas adventures. They did a lot of bonding,A:If you take all of that I may just end you. S: I cans respects thats. and there was the whole “Ifs she IS leavings, dont’s just lets her go. Trusts me, okays?” moment.
They really have grown together as sisters.
Selkie really only had a problem with Amanda in the first place because Amanda is the one who started their childhood war.
And we’ve already seen with Truck that when not regurgitating internet memes, she’s actually really mature and emphatic, able to move on and forgive like that.
Now they’re rivals, not enemies! Rivals get a lot more respect.
Oh, wow! That is some awesome fan art! I’m quite impressed.
I think it really captures the mischievous-fun aspect that Mandy and Keisha have going.
Beautiful fan art!! The teddy bear is cute Too!
For Doctor Terrorhammer, “head canon” (or cannon) could have an unfortunate double meaning.
At least they’re getting along. XD
Aww, they’re getting to that “nobody beats up my sister but ME” stage.

Umm. Did Selkie just make a Steven Universe reference?
Not necessarily. It IS true that a diamond can only be damaged by another diamond

Apparently diamonds break just fine, it’s cutting them that is best done with another diamond. Though yea common misconception.
