Yeah, lately it seems more like normal childhood competition, rather than “i hate your guts and wish you were dead”. I like where their relationship is going… I can really see the makings of the fan-art comics someone drew of adult Amanda + Selkie… out for a day of shopping and cafes, getting along alright, but still that air of competition and sarcasm.
Here here. I know that they’ll slide back, but hopefully not to the “I despise you” level of hatred that it was at. I foresee when it isn’t Amanda’s day but Selkie’s B-day, this could be a problem.
This is just like how my oldest sister and I banter, and we are absolutely the best of friends, totally inseparable. Loving seeing it here as baby steps to these two really feeling like family someday!
