Sketch Saturday Senior Project: Ghost Peach Party
Jan28
Happy Sketch Saturday everyone!
I am making a children’s book for my Senior project. The tentative title is “Ghost Peach Party”. It’s about a little girl and her ghost friends and takes place in a cemetery with a peach tree.
Today's edition of the Secret Commentary is empty, because Dave failed to come up with something for it.
That is an awesome idea for a kids book. My mom tells me stories of when one of the towns she lived in as a kid (their family moved a lot). It didn’t have a playground, so the kids played in the cemetery instead. There was a crypt and a creepy bridge that they based a lot of their made-up stories on. They used to hide under and around the bridge and pretend the cops and ghosts were trying to find them. Also the crypt was locked up, so they pretended some great evil spirit was locked inside it. Your story just kind of brought that all back to me. Cool idea! 🙂
What am I looking at?
I think the one on the top left is a moose skull.
By the way, I love your icon of gummy the alligator. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic rocks!
Looks awesome! For a second I thought that was concept art for Selkie though. What? You have a race of fish people in it!
This is awesome, will copies of the book be available anywhere? Because I would love to be able to read it.
The one on the left… Is that Pyro’s hat Madame Dixie on top of Pyromancer’s Mask? Or am I just playing too much TF2? This sketch does nothing to cease my obsession for hats.
This is adorable.
Waiiiiiiit a second…You’ve had an amazing webcomic running for almost TWO YEARS and you’re still not out of COLLEGE?!? (Well, I’m guessing you are now, but you weren’t when you posted this.) This is SOOOO not fair!!!
