Only if she tries to fight her hair. Those of us that have hair that goes up and out instead and flat either embrace it and rock, or kill it with fire.
Only if you don’t take into account that there is a *COMPLETELY DIFFERENT* science to Black Hair than white hair and Asian hair and… all other hair really.
Hee hee:) That’s awesome. And showing more of the humility and humanity of everyday life for two characters who have had dubious behavior in the past before a big potential blow out ahead… Clever man:)
I’m thinking she stashed them when they were allowed to use them, rather than broke in to the supplies.
As a kid though, unless a key was being held by one of my parents, I could get past just about any lock. One way or another, I was getting in. Tools often included butter knifes, wire coat hangers, and dental floss.
I have no idea why I had a thing about locked doors, but I did.
Locked doors are a challenge. Until you are taught that said challenge is something to be respected and left alone, by default, as a child, that challenge is something to achieve. If you decide that getting past those doors is too hard, then you stop. But if you have success early on, that was A Fun Thing To Do and you start seeing all locked doors as Fun Things To Try.
The MIT Hackers will tell you that this is 100% the correct attitude to have.
sounds like my brother, no locked doors tho, he jsut got the nickname Houdini in daycare because whenever they left him unattended he ended up somewhere he shouldnt be, they did work out he would kick of his shoes to climb out and resorted to sticky taping them on, and both him and me have been reported escaping our cribs to go sleep beside mom and dads bed heh heh
So Amanda is actually has a family and some kind of healthy routine here. While it’s not ideal, I can only imagine it’s going to be really rough for her to be adopted. I wonder if she will try to pressure Andi to adopt Keisha, too?
^^^@Dotcom. Maybe. Didn’t she have some plan with Heather and Keisha to be adopted together? Or did she give up on that after Heather left? I can’t remember.
oh yeah, they doubled down on their promise to get taken together after Heather “ditched them” (like she had some choice in it or something) https://selkiecomic.com/comic/selkie120/
I’m guessing every day is a bad hair day for Keisha.

you misspelled “fucking awesome hair” there

Ah, the simple joy of groan-worthy puns.

Years later I revealed to my mother that opening the “child-proof” locks had been all too easy.
It is -never- to early for stupid jokes. You will learn this as you grow up.
Now THERE she has a point… it can be too early for stupid jokes.

I think Keisha might have, because Selkie pointed out the issues surrounding such a plan, but Amanda didn’t hear of it.
