Go Selkie! Glad that settling the whole ‘name’ business has given her some lucid-dreaming hutzpah (and a big purple wicket-bat! Smack some manners into that Truck bully!)
Hm, her dream manipulation of matter seems rather similar to what adults of her species do in green and black. I wonder if dreams like this often accompany the first manifestation of that talent.

Selkie has taken some power back in the waking world so now she is taking it back in her dreams. It is a mater of character development that many storytellers will skip. “And then everything was all right.” Is not relating the story well, this is. Good job on being willing to cover the full story instead of glossing things over.

Ooops, I thought it was one of those Anime swords! Cricket Bat it is. Somehow I think she regrets being so nice to Truck.
It definitely has a hilt in the second to last pannel, so not a bat. My first thought was Cloud’s butterfly sword.
I thought Selkie was going all Cloud Status too.
Actually I like the idea of the phone-sword, it’s like a vorpal-blade or something.
“At The Tone, The Time Will Be…Beatdown…Thirty…Seven…A-M…”
hmmm. selkie wearing a seal skin. nice dream riff on her identity.

Is that her Phone with which she defeated (filmed) that trunchbull boy?
It is, turned into a sword!
Is that … a macahuitl? If so, Dave, I love you.
I was thinking it was a cricket bat… but you could be right!
This was also my first thought.
huh, selkies phone has become a weapon.
So would that make her a cell sword?
BA-dum-Psshh
Anyone else remember when Todd was like, an important character?

Argh thought that had cleared up. I’ll take another look at it. Sorry for the trouble.
Unpopular Opinion time. I find the dream-sequences boring and a waste of time. It feels really gimmicky.

DREAM BATTLE!
Selkie’s weapon clearly a sword – which is in the same time it’s her cellphone.
