I hate giving you guys one of my Glaring White Eyesore pages, but due to some video driver problems that crashed my Photoshop and forced me to re-do big chunks of my outlining (twice!), I gotta get to bed and hold off on the color until tomorrow night. Sorry.

I had some trouble with the second-to-last panel's dialogue. Jessie was going to offer to stream Sue and Kathryn on her laptop for Selkie, but my dialog involved her mentioning that she has a webTV account and could pull up the station's website for her to watch. I was trying to simplify the dialogue when I realized.... just put a damn TV in the lounge. Bam.
The Selkie face in the second to last panel is adorable without any coloring anyways. I think we can survive. （ ´∀｀）

Happy for regular updates, colored or not. As one doing combat with Windows 8, I totally understand driver issues.
It’s interesting to see the process sometimes too, and the white pages show some of it.

When I was a kid, I didn’t even know that such a thing as a teacher’s lounge existed, let alone know where it was!
Mine had it clearly labeled on the door with a plaque. I always wanted to try and peek inside because I was sure they were doing cool secret stuff.
As an adult, I know know they were probably just grading papers or watching daytime TV.
And no doubt soaking up some kid-free ambiance for a few precious minutes.

I got a look inside mine once. They were drinking coffee and gossiping. Not even one evil conspiracy between ’em.

I got to have lunch inside mine when I was in kindergarten. As I recall, they had some tables, a sink, and a fridge with comics on it. Kinda ruined the mystery, but never mind.

Love how Selkie goes from “…booorrreeeddd…” slump to “AIIIEEE” action-girl in a couple of seconds. I remember similar surges of adrenaline back in the day.
Todd seems to have gotten really chill. He came into this situation ready to roll heads, but now he’s, like, bonding.
It would still make sense if he gets “down to business” in the next strip.
In other news, the expressions on everyone’s faces in this strip are an excellent example of your skills.

I was assuming that a significant amount of time has passed (especially since it is now 4:30 in comic time, and most elementary schools let out by 4 at the latest), so Todd has gotten the full explanation…Otherwise, yes, he has gone from outraged to chatty in a weirdly short period.
Well that ought to keep Selkie busy for the next half hour, maybe now Todd will get to have an extended talk with Mina: For some reason I think those two will get along famously.
While I don’t quite ‘ship’ Todd and Mina, I think that would be an interesting plot twist!
