I suspect the basis for Nightmare Knife Man would think this was hilarious. And if they met there would definitely be some sort of pun along the lines of “knife to meet you” XD
Thought I’d clicked onto the wrong site, or something had gotten screwed up. (Unfortunate experience the last couple of weeks, where repeats of “PreTeena” came up with Sunday “Prickly City” strips.)
Knife reminds me of a spell I used to use in D&D it was something like summon servant and could make inanimate objects sproute arms and legs and follow your orders.
I digress, my Mother raised us on B-Horror cheese like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street.
I’m reminded of Slashy the razor from Something Positive, with an overbearingly positive outlook on suicide. Twenty years later, its a good slice of life comic.
I’d say B horror comedy of sort, by the looks. In fact, I recall Te Fahn asked “movies about monsters”. Not sure if anyone said they’d be horror. Guess we just assumed based on the titles.
so we get “it/Killer Klowns”, “Mutant Dinosaurs/X-men” and what we thought would be “Nightmare on Elm street” but instead a sentient Knife hunts nightmares (per later strips?)
That knife thing is so freaking funny. It caught me off guard when the picture loaded!
The girls look so peaceful, I hope they have good dreams!
It’s definitely a different take on “knife man” than I expected!

Well, if they managed to fall asleep like that the movies can’t have been too scary.

Knife man is clearly angry because someone didn’t make him full-tang.
Oof leaky venom saliva, not fun. Gotta glove up to clean that.
Wait, those are actual horror movies in their world? Who came up with that stuff?
