I realize that we’re in a completely different part of the story now, but I’ve been re-reading the earlier chapters and am suddenly wondering about the other orphans. Did the police ever locate Hamud’s parents? Has Keisha been adopted? Are we ever going to find out, or do they get relegated to the past?
Keisha (and Heather too) are really overdue for some screen time, honestly. They’re still Amanda’s friends after all. Keisha’s not yet adopted, unless I lost a scribble-note somewhere.
Hamud, unfortunately, is kind of in the same category as Moonsong and Ricky, where they’ve fallen out of relevance so hard I don’t really have a place for them anymore except maybe as background cameos.
Grandpa is smart.
Is it wrong that I’m hoping Scar is one of those “houseguests” just to see Grandma’s reaction?
It probably is, isn’t it?
Welcome back.
Small correction the first bubble 💬: expore -> explore
This makes sense. Especially since they would be the easiest source of getting Echo training equipment for this new set up.
Ah, they invited the Men In Black. Yea, that’s sensible.
And that willl be one novel experience for the Men in Black!
Ah, so Theo let the dogs out. Good to know.

I get it. I’m going to headcannon that while Hamud’s parents weren’t found, they did locate his grandmother, and he lives with her now 🙂
