There was a short-lived sitcom – Easy Street. Jack Elam, when he was in his sixties, with a beard down to his breast bone. Some other old man – don’t recall who – and Loni Anderson. I think Jack was her uncle. But the three of them are some place that is serving oysters on the half shell. And Jack made the comment that, “They look like something that came out of an ox’s nose, but they sure are good”.
I just love seeing the Amanda and Selkie interaction. They were siblings before, but now are sisters. They may swing at each other, but if anyone else gets involved they will team up on them.
At lunch one day a supervisor said to the dept head that the first person to eat an oyster must have been very hungry. The dept head agreed, and continued his meal of pork brains and scrambled eggs. I wisely kept my lowly mouth shut.

Those two have come a long way and I am so proud of them ^^
If you pickled the oysters, I think Dr. Terrorhammer might want a word with you.
Served at James Garfield’s inauguration supper… Is all I can tell you about pickled oysters.
Pickled cockles are good, though.

Sir, you impugn one of my favorite southern breakfasts, Pork brains scrambled into eggs, with biscuits and sausage gravy on the side.
Funny she should mention that, up here in Alaska I’ve been told that Native kids in rural communities love fish heads, especially the eyes.
My mother used to scramble brains and eggs. In fact they were kinda good.
Honestly, I don’t understand why oysters are generally served raw. Grilled oysters are so much better. With some cheese on top.
