AMANDA: How do you feel about WOODBURNING?
SELKIE: I was rights the first time. CHAOS!
Almost called it Pyreography since the wikipedia article uses hat term, but it doesn't flow right.
Anyone else see this coming? Anyone?
Cus I sure did. Grandma and grandpa are about to get a crash course in laser eyes
That look of pure, malevolent evil on Amanda’s face… Dr. Terrorhammer has some competition.
Nah. A partner in crime, more like. A sister in arms, if you will. Or eyes.
Co-conspirator, I’d call it.
I predict Good Things! 😀
I’m taking bets: how you imagine the upcoming destruction in a scale from 1 to 10?
Turned up to 11 is my guess, no standard scale can measure the madness that is about to ensue.
Actually, if they can pull off proper, artistic wood-burning with the laser eyes, that’d be OUTSTANDING practice with their control. I can potentially see good things coming from this.
After the chaos of course…
Or maybe the other way around?
The girls pull of a proper, artistic wood-burning with their laser eyes… and then chaos ensures as they try to hide HOW they pulled it off.
I should have read the comments before adding my own. 🙂 This. Exactly this!
They are true Sisters.
Given that Amanda describes her laser eyes as seriously painful, I find it difficult to believe she’d be taking on that pain for art projects. Feels like something she’d need to work up to, especially if it requires a long time and concentration to accomplish.
I was thinking the same thing… I suspect she was offended that her booms were not boomy enough and wants to be more in control/powerful.
Okay, but consider this: Using the eye lasers for woodburning seems like it would be an excellent way to learn control.
Not that I expect much “control” in the immediate future, but the idea is still sound.
Thot for the day: the art of wood burning is called pyrography. It has a venerable and long history.
“For I am Amanda the Pyrographer!”
…yeah, I can see something like this being a thing.
