Chanelle: "Worse"? Keisha, are you okay? You NEVER make fun of me like that.
Keisha: I'm sorry.
Keisha: I'm just mad at my other friends for being stupid.
George: Same.
Chanelle: Oh! Well, that's easy to fix!
Chanelle: You just have to use conflict resolution! Tell your friends they hurt your feelings, and tell them why it hurt your feelings, and address the grievances civilly.
George: That sounds like something--
Chanelle: That's what my Dad would say!
George: There it is!
Keisha: Ugh.

Thanks for making cranberry juice come out my nose, Dave!
I thought I was having a haemorrhage.
Fixed the double-post. Please resume spewing cranberries.
(Grumble good shirt grumble…)
Thanks Dave.
You did ask, George.
No, I’m not sure he actually asked — he just started putting it together that what she was spouting off was something adults/parents would say, and she happily confirmed that for him.
I love how direct Chanelle’s communication is – instead of reacting with embarrassment or frustration to Keisha’s comment, she responds with compassion, and a gentle call out of the unkind part of the comment. Very emotionally aware and eloquent!
Now they have a golden opportunity for Chanelle to practice what she is preaching.
Has this comic shifted to Tuesday-Thursday?
No, not officially. I’ve just been finding it easier for me to go to bed earlier then finish it in the morning, rather than staying up late to finish it.
Thanks for your reply on my question.
I find myself addicted to this above any other comic on the web.
Gaia, I can’t understand anymore, Sandra and Woo, by Powree as well, I stopped reading. Girl Genius and Selkie are all I look at now. And Girl Genius is kind of losing me. So it’s Selkie or nothing. As bad as the drawing are, I find the story as attractive as always.
My Mate gets rumpled feathers if I start screaming “Damn you Willis!,” at the computer at breakfast. She always says, “find something new to read, but stop yelling at the screen.” She means; “go to TopWebComics and pick a new one.”
