Gah, I always hate finding a short comic. I get so disappointed when I reach the end so quickly.
Which is actually a recommendation. XD I liked what I saw enough to be disappointed. It’s an interesting concept. What I wonder is if she actually is one.
lol, That little girl is so funny. It’s kind of a sad type of funny though. But I like the way Selkie handled it. She’s got a good heart. And asking a girl to grow up is just you setting yourself up for heartache. We never grow up. I’ll be the first to admit it, but I still make those faces. ^_^
I really like this comic a lot :3 I found it about a week ago, and I must say I love the concept thus far! The art could use a little work in a few places (faces are sometimes lopsided, lines are occasionally wobbly) but it looks really good so far!
Also, as someone who is a part of the LGBT community, I like the subtle nods to polyamorous groups and gay couples without much attention being drawn to it :3
I admit I was a bit surprised no one (other than Dinru) had commented on “Ben and Tom Henderson” adopting. Maybe most people missed it (I think I did the first read through. :P)
On further thought, it makes me happier that it triggered no rash of internet stupidity in a big nasty fuss. I’m not “part of the LGBT-and-whatever-new-letters-added community” and only have my own life experiences that every gay/lesbian person I have yet met in my life (and admitted handful) has been friendly, polite, humorous, and has the maturity to let small, unimportant stuff roll off their backs like water. That’s MY gay stereotype: They’d make awesome parents! ^_^
First time commenting, although I’ve been following this comic for a while.
If our main character’s name (Selkie) is any sort of description, maybe ninja astronauts *are* possible. Not likely that Georgie found them though, if they’re undercover.

Really? No coemments yet?
I like that kid XD reminds me of my god-child who has a knack at stealing my wallet
Congrats on first post! XD
Okay, maybe I’m slow on the uptake & it’s been mentioned previously but….are those WINGS on Selkie’s back?
Yes, but they’re just part of her dress.

Aw. Cute friends. Pathological liar and seal-girl.

…..
I think I met them on my last trek up and down the great wall.
….
well, ninja astronauts are KINDA easy to see. >_>
Polygamous family of South Calumet sounds like an alternate world. From the same place where ninjitsu trained astronauts would exist.
Re-reading this and wondering that no-one recognised the faces the kids are pulling from “My Neighbor Totoro.”
