The five parents in question were a polygamous quintet from Calumet’s southern region (average to upper middle class). They had a… very hard time agreeing on which kid to adopt.

You may notice some changes to the site’s main page today. I opened up Selkie for Project Wonderful advertising this weekend. So if anyone wishes to get the word out on their own projects, I’d love to have you aboard!
I also updated the cast page with the kids in the orphanage (that have been introduced so far anyway 😉 ) and I have added a fan art page to the site! Great changes are among us!
Today's edition of the Secret Commentary is empty, because Dave failed to come up with something for it.
…I so did not know Calumet was that different from Winnebago! And we’re so close… 😀
Selkie is shrewd, sly, and knows which way is up! She reminds me of my daughter, which makes this rock while quickly giving me gray hair. That stubborn look has all my supermom senses tingling. Keep up the good work!
i have officially begun craving selkie comics! /^3^/ all hail the mighty Dave! 😀
ahhaha that’s the best panel how it started with Amanda getting on selkie for trying to bag in a parent.
Not for fan art i have one last page for you it will be up maybe latter this day or on Thursday I’m having troubles with the scanner……-gets a chicken and a voodoo hat- lets hope this works
Teehee, I love that there are actual conversations like this. I mean, they may not be like that in real life, but it would certainly make sense. I love Selkie’s attitude. I aspire to be like her. The girl on the outside who doesn’t take any bull from anyone. Stupid Amanda… If she wasn’t so small, I’d smack her. And for the record of anywhere, I’d choose Selkie anyday. She’s definitely the kid I’d adopt over fake “Princess” Amanda.
“I don’t want parents that fight.” Wise beyond her years, our Selkie is. 🙂
Just started reading and looking forward to more already!
Love that last line. Perfect set up.
for an expert, she still appears to be here.
I actually like selkie this way.
Oh boy, the foreshadowing in this strip!
