But since he is the creator, Dave lead Pohl into sinning, so that is carried on his shoulders as well…
Dave, give us 3 hail Sue and Kathryns, and 2 holy doomhammers and you are absolved.
Pohl is the only Non-Work friend that Todd has. Other than Andi and Mandy, Selkie and the Cat, … I swear he spends more time with Selkie’s friends than he does with his own. But that seems to be the lot for a single parent, no?
He rarely sees his folks or sibs. Rarely gets invites to Heather’s, no more. Coffees with Haversham-Zang.
I am left with the assumption that he has 3 martini lunches with work buddies and/or clients, or else he uses escapist literature, drugs, or perhaps other even more risky unhealthy pastimes to cope with the spirit-crushing isolation that adopting a Sarnothi young’un has brought him. Dave has not shown us Todd at a rave since what? Year One?
Rarely gets dinner invites to Heather’s folks. No more Coffees with Ms. Haversham-Zang. No conferences with Principle-less Hobbit, nor Trunchie-Poo, ‘Zero’ smoke breaks with Agent Brown; and he doesn’t smoke anyway..so that was always awkward…
I like your point, but I think that out of all the characters in the entirety of the comic (major and minor personae) Pohl is the very least likely to misread something that Todd says. I see your point, and agree, but still think it to be the least likely to pass. Those two seem to have a (smirk) resonance… XD of true friendship.
Its a minor sin to us, thank you for posting!
You also forgot Todd’s dinner that he made for you. Pretty sure Pohl’s sinned more than you Dave. 🙂

CRAP I meant Terrorhammer… (unless I am wrong again… Maybe I need to do 3 hail Sue and Kathryns…)
No need to apologize! You do you!
Hey, I like the occasional lineart!
Also, I am getting a kick out of Todd and Pohl’s friendship.

I actually agree with this. Todd is overdue for an arc that belongs to him, where he can be Todd the Guy, not Todd the Dad.
We will always be glad to see the comic no matter the form!
Well, in Pohl’s defense, there *was* a rather large distraction…
To be fair, Todd DID try to warn him that lessons on deception (and the perils thereof) were coming:

Maybe tone the Innate Evilness down a bit Todd. Pohl might not realize (if) you’re kidding.
