Gilligan is dreaming. He is Dracula, and Ginger is his Lucy. Hearing the skipper and the professor (as Holmes and Watson) coming he ducks behind a curtain. “I’ll hide in the alcove.”
You hear the sounds of crashing, as Ginger says, “We don’t HAVE an alcove”.
no wonder poor todd is freaking out right now, but i have faith that in the long run he´ll accept scar as a ‘cool pseudo uncle’ into selkie´s life….allowing the poor guy to see that she´s well taken care of and most importantly, LOVED
I love the parallels between Scar and Todd. Both had daughter’s put in the adoption system with out them knowing by mom’s who thought it was for the kid’s wellness. And both are reconnecting them years later.
“You be seeings, myself and her mother had the angry make-up time in the kelp fields… She be blowing off my face with echo cannon eyeballs and then got very gravid-wanting in her timing… Then gestation periods be passing and is being Selkie perhaps.”
I think there is more love between selkie’s parents than the rumours would be fair in telling. I *also* think that Selkie’s mother was the reason the Old Farmer is now rebuilding the society — she kicked his butt… they hated each other, then they fell in love and he wanted to be a better version of himself. It isn’t unheard of. Not being able to tell his daughter that he is her father and loves her — that’s torture. I hope that he gets that chance and Todd doesn’t end up being threatened by it. Somehow I don’t think he would (he’s pretty mature).
The excrement hath now hit the ceiling propeller…
… hit the ceiling propeller, after being deflected by tabletop oscillating propeller from the standing one next to the source.
And so it begins, the biggest of emotional train wrecks.
The sad face,… The Saddest of Faces.

… I don’t think I saw that episode. Do you happen to remember the name?
Up At Bat. https://gilligan.fandom.com/wiki/Up_at_Bat
He gets bitten by a bat, believes he’s going to turn into a vampire, and has the dream.
LOL! I’ll have to watch it, thank you for the link!
Todd is have a “Oh 💩” moment. Don’t worry Todd, we got your back!
Are we going to see an interspecies contested adoption case?
Craps.
Considering he doesn’t want it known she is his daughter due to the stigma on her, probably not
I think you meant the stigma on HIM, as he is the “Old Farmer”.
Nope. that creep gien intimated the sins of the father would be visited on the daughter if the truth was known.

Oo- yes!
I’m starting to think I’m not very sensitive to personal parallels…
