Then Wednesday’s is Todd sitting in HIS blue VW staring at the scene a few cars in front of him. “Wow, glad that wasn’t me!”
Seriously, though, I’m thrilled you’ve gotten this far, I look forward to many more to come, and on top of that I also appreciate the way you interact with us down here in the comments. Overall it’s still the community I’m most glad to be a part of right now ^_^
I hope Todd doesn’t feel guilty over what two people completely unrelated to him did. I also should hope a good portion of Selkie’s people hold no resentment towards all humans, because that’d practically be blind racism.
Of course, it would also be very human behavior. Consider how popular Muslims and Middle Easterners in general became after 9/11, and now consider that the Sarnothi likely don’t have human citizens living among them to contrast the monsters against. Todd might need a bodyguard.
Another concern for you, Todd…how will they react to human raised Selkie? Could she wind up bullied by a group of Sarnothi kids? Too Sarnothi for the humans, too human for the Sarnothi?
