I am 6′ 2” tall… my mother is 5′ 3″… and the moment she gets angry, I feel about two inches tall and about ten years younger.

Has Selkie had a chance to go swimming in the ocean since she was left at the orphanage? Will we get to see her swim? Hunt her own food? Join swim team and break world records? Take her SCUBA qualification course and say “Yucks! Don’t needs thems” when they give her a regulator and dive tables?
Swim team? Unlikely. They swim in pools, don´t they? “Sink waters” hurts Selkie, apparently because it´s chlorinated, and pools are more strongly chlorinated than tap water.

Huh, if you notice, he shrunk at the first panel too, before he looked like a kid in the second and third ones (had to go back a few pages and compare how he was always around their height in the past few pages when they were all sitting together) So that means the feeling like a kid thing began at the end of the last page…
That or he’s just sinking back more into his seat…I tend to do that a lot.
It was a nice touch how he slowly became more kid-like. That was a stroke of genius.

Very clever way of showing that the character feels like he’s being reduced to a child. Took me a minute to get that.
