Grandpa – Why do you keep saying “don’t worry about it”?
Avery – Don’t worry about it.

Agnodice: a legendary figure credited as the first female midwife or physician in ancient Athens. Her story is told by the Roman author Gaius Julius Hyginus

Is it possible to read the phrase “Don’t worry about it” without hearing it in a Brooklyn accent? You’re just one step away from “Ey, forget about it”.

Spell it properly, please: “Fugget abaodit.”
      🙂

“Don’t worry about it” from any form of official is immediate cause for worry.

Counterpoint: Theo is being a little dense here. Of course they investigated the sister of the father of the man who adopted the test child for “Project Save The Goldfish”.

Counterpoint… Theo knows this perfectly well, and is just poking at their wall of secrecy again.

Well OF COURSE he is poking at their wall of secrecy. Their experimental goldfishies are his granddaughters, after all.

In fairness, if Theo and his sister are joint owners of the property, they probably HAD to research her in conjunction with investigating whether this property will work for this training.

Doesn’t sound like anything not found in a public database.

“Because you described this as a “shared vacation home”, and the lady takes lots of vacations.”
“That explanation involves you doing time travel to do the research before I mentioned a reason you should do the research.”
“Either I have mysterious alien time travel powers, or I’m very paranoid and think several steps ahead, Mr. Smith. Have your pick.”
“…Honestly, if I get to pick, the alien time travel powers sound more entertaining.”
“To me too, Mr. Smith. To me too.”

Shared vacation home that great-auntie visits frequently could be a big concern. It wouldn’t be out of place for her to just pop by without much warning.

Assuming “travels frequently” isn’t a euphemism for a more illegal behaviour.
