Quick update on the hosting move, it’s a bit snagged-up and is not migrated yet. My goal is to try and work that out over the weekend.

Oooh, VERY nice job with the coloring this time, especially the backgrounds.
Oh, hell.
Sounds like things are about to go from “terrible tragedy” to “full on humanitarian (well, you know what I mean) disaster”
This is sad. These people coming to shore are going to be, figuratively, fish out of water. [Not “literally” because they are not actually fish.] They have no idea what’s ahead of them.
This is true. But at least they have someone there to meet them now.
considering how freakin large the ‘city’ of sarnoth is/was, i´d say they have a huge problem….ok, we never got population numbers, but going by size alone i would say they have several 10.000 sarnothis to put up+integrate. good thing there are those like pohl, who already know their way among humans, that can help.
i wonder, will plo quar be among the refugees?
No, Plo Quar is already integrated.
says you! but it was never officially confirmed or denied – for all we know she´s been in the lake all this time, leading the resistance.
….or been killed/imprisoned ages ago. i mean, everybody we met so far hasn´t seen or heart of her for years
She’s in the background here: https://selkiecomic.com/comic/selkie122/
I never noticed her name in the tag until you pointed it out! Thank you!
Also, she’d have had to have left the lake in order for Selkie to have spent her first few years in a pond or for her to have left her at an orphanage.
Never assume a plot twist that depends on contradicting the cenntral premise of a work.
Given her part in the whole Sarnothi crisis combined with the details of Selkie’s conception and birth, I don’t think she is trying very hard to be found.
This is just the numbers of refugees coming into the US side of the lake. I wonder what the total numbers look like (if we ever get an in-comic mention) on refugees coming out at the Canadian side as well. 🙁
Beautiful coloring job. And just so heartbreaking.
In a nasally-southern Twang: “East bound and down, loaded up and truckin’, We’re gonna do what they say can’t be done.
We’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.”

Have we met this woman before?
Not according to a tag search. This page appears to be the only one with her in it.
