I thought Halloween was on a Sunday this year, but apparently it’s Monday. Oh well! We’ll celebrate early!

Man I liked Ico so long before it became cool. I liked it back when Toonami aired a review about it. ;_; That and SotC are such cool games that people like now just because they’re hipsters.
I like how Selkie seems rather displeased with the shadow being. 😛

I was so glad when they announced the re-release, because my PS2 broke before I could finish Shadow of the Colossus.

Man I wish they’d done more backstory for shadow of the colossus, such an awesome game, and I’m such a lorenerd it kills me not to know more about Dormin and all the ruins.
Game was HARD too, you don’t see that much anymore.
That last colossus especially, the Titan… That was one tough living volcano-man.

(although I am sure I am past the statute of limitations on spoilers at this point anyway. XD)
And ya, SotC is crazy hard. Some of the battles made my hands sore tying to juggle keeping hold on the fur while still stabbing the thing properly. I think my favorite colossi of the ones I recall was the giant bird. Jump onto it and hold on for dear life as it FLIES MILES IN THE AIR.

Oh, I remember Ico…the concept was original, the designs were beautiful and the game play was fun…except for one thing: Ico. Like, the girl herself was so utterly stupid, she’d stand in one place and wait for the monsters to approach her. Then she’d die and you’d lose the game.
What a cool cosplay for her. I can see her fitting the role. Honestly I never got that much into Ico, because I had too hard a time figuring out the puzzles. I’m too used to easier Zelda puzzles I guess. Still I loved the concept and the art for it.
Is it just me or does the weapon Selkie’s holding look like a lightsaber? My stars, I’m a huge Star Wars fan…
Looks more like a burning torch to me.
ICO! Great game, but I was really disappointed when I beat it and it didn’t have the promised new game+ with translations.
